Terms of Use

Last updated: October 21, 2026. By using the chromary website or repository you agree to these terms.

Short version: chromary is free, open source software published under the MIT license. Use it, fork it and ship with it. The content is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

1. The service

chromary is a curated collection of color resources, documentation, agent skills, recipes and small web tools, published by Zynu on GitHub and served through GitHub Pages. Nothing here is a paid service and no account is required.

2. License and ownership

The code and content of chromary are released under the MIT license. You may use, copy, modify and distribute them subject to that license. The chromary name, wordmark and visual identity belong to the author. Third party names such as Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Pantone, Lospec or Crameri belong to their respective owners and are referenced for identification and education only.

3. Accuracy and professional use

Color values, contrast calculations, conversion math and recommendations are provided in good faith for educational and practical use, but they may contain errors or become outdated. Always verify critical results (accessibility compliance, brand matching, print reproduction) with qualified tools before relying on them in production.

4. No warranty

The site, the repository and all downloadable material are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author shall not be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from, out of or in connection with the site, the repository or the use of their contents.

6. Third party links and APIs

The site links to external tools and APIs operated by third parties. We do not control those services, do not guarantee their availability and are not responsible for their content, pricing or practices.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the hosting infrastructure or attempt to disrupt the site or its repository.
  • Do not republish the content as your own work in a way that violates the MIT license notice requirements.
  • Contributions you submit to the repository are licensed under the same MIT license.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
